I live in Virginia, it is located in the United States, North America, which is in the northern hemisphere. Virginia has clear four seasons and the weather is humid with very warm summers and moderately cold winders. Virginia is known for its mass of coal, oil and aggregates. It also has other natural resources, such as forests, arables and mountains. To me, the number one natural resource are the trees because they generate fresh air. The natural resource that is the most common to find in Virginia are the wildlife because some animals, like squirrels, deer and birds, pass by our homes. The natural resources in my state makes Virginia one of the nice places to live in the US.
The first type of natural resources are coal, aggregates and oil. These three important natural resources can help my state by creating energy. In my state, we rely on energy because without it, it would be difficult to survive. Energy in Virginia can help us with turning lights on, driving a vehicle, making water come out of a faucet, powering devices, and constructing buildings. Coal, aggregates and oil are helpful because they can make energy, which is really important to our daily needs.
Secondly, Forests, arables and mountains are important natural resources too in the state. All these three areas of land can help Virginia build wooden objects from the tree’s, grow fruits and vegetables in arables or go hiking on the mountains. Without the forests, arables and mountains, virginia would turn into a desert because without the trees in the forests, there won’t be rain since they absorb water from the soil and release it through evapotranspiration. Without forests, arables and mountains, Virginia would be hard to survive in.
Last one is wildlife and aquatic organisms. The wildlife and aquatic organisms are what keep our state beautiful and entertaining. There always might be a squirrel or bird passing by in Virginia since they are very common to spot in nature or in cities. We want the animals In Virginia to stay because they entertain us, since people in Virginia like to observe them, discover new ones and chase them. Wildlife and aquatic organisms bring us closer and connected to nature.
I like my state and it provides many natural resources to enjoy a modern life. However, if I have a choice, I’d like to go to a different place because I like places where I can see famous portraits, statues or even buildings. I also enjoy places where I might pass by big cities. I want to see places with different landscapes and different natural resources.
