There are about a hundred of rockets launched every year and in them are mostly satellites, scientific probes, and some astronauts and more, there are so many but why are we sending them? There is a lot of space we can discover, that is why we are discovering new things and stars every day! Think about all the hard work astronomers spend into the stars and planets thinking if space has an edge. There are so many planets out there and we predict there are about 1000 billion galaxies but there is probably more. After all this talk about space and how we are spending a lot of time on it, the main reason for scientists to discover new things everyday is for them to see if we are alone.
There are thousands of people just out wondering. The same thing: are we alone? Scientists and astronomers have built so many machines and even started SETI. SETI means Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, we are sending out radio signals hoping aliens might respond back. There are thousands of planets just like Earth, with water, land, and oxygen. All of that right there needed for life. SETI have tried every possible way to find life but they found 0. They are giving up soon. We can’t tell if aliens don’t exist, we never know, there is always more space to uncover and we only know the truth if we go to the end of the space or actually find an alien. If aliens do exist they have to follow the rules of physics too just like us.
Earth is getting worse because of climate change, extreme weather, pollution etc. Climate change includes severe disasters like whirlpools and tsunamis, but it doesn't stop there, there are heat waves, floods, and crop failures, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, droughts, acid rain and much more. Pollution is a big reason for climate change. There is too much pollution of greenhouse gas and heavy harmful smoke that is making the atmosphere weaker and it might pop someday and release all the air. Polluting acid into rivers and into smoak can cause acid clouds and acid rain. There are so many things people do that cause harm to the environment even though they might not be doing it on purpose.
Earth may be breaking down right now and getting harmed but it is not too late just yet, we can mold earth into the right shape or at least let Earth cool down and slow down the progress. Climate change is the main source of the problem so if we can just slow down on the coal and not pollute the air with smoke then it might be right. Next we need to not pollute and if we have a national day for not polluting and stop using so many harmful resources, it will be great. There are so many more things we can do to help, and all that matters is to think about what we can do for Earth and Nature instead of thinking about what we can do for ourselves.
Space has a lot of wonders in it but we mainly focus on if there is life on other planets. But the reason why we are focusing on life goes deeper, we want to find a new place to live because Earth is not good anymore. Earth is falling apart, we are polluting it and not taking good care of it by first letting harmful smoke into the air. Then we are letting too much greenhouse gas into the atmosphere. And it just escalates from there to the point, now Earth is paying back by having disasters that can get out of control. Overall, we need to take good care of the Earth. We are searching out there for a new place to live so we can go away from things we started. We destroyed Earth so now we need to take care of it before it is too late.
