Why do People Need Pets?

The perfect pet is a simple humorous fiction written by Margie Palatini. It talks about a girl named Elizabeth who really wants a pet. She asks for a horse, a dog, a cat, or even a turtle, but her parents always find excuses to reject her ideas, since they don’t want a pet. While Elizabeth campaigns to find the right pet, that is Doug. instead of her pet cactus. Doug is a bug, he is not big like a horse or barks like a dog. He doesn’t scratch, or shed, or jump on furniture. Doug is the most unusual and special pet of all.

Pets will bring a lot of pleasure to people who are lucky to own a pet. I have had a Shiba puppy at home for 2 years. I feel happy whenever I see his big eyes, long ears and fluffy brown fur. I enjoy having my puppy accompany me when I am at home alone, so that I am not lonely and feel very warm. Every day, I come home from school, the puppy greets me with its wagging tail excitedly, my heart cherries up at once. I play with my puppy for relaxation and comfort. In short, the puppy has brought me quite joy.

People and pets are as close as family. Pets bring pleasures to people, on the other hand, people bring happiness to their own pet as well. I do what is the least to my pet to make it become well-behaved. I prepared a comfortable doghouse for my dog. Feed her nutritious dog food and clean water every day. My puppy is happy, when she gets out, lies down, shows her white belly in the yard and basks in the sun as she pleases. When I was playing hide-and-seek with the dog, she was so happy that keep wagging her tail for me and rubbing on me. I will take good care of my puppy with love to let her feel our kindness and love.

There is an intimate relationship between people and animals. Animals provide human beings with the meat, eggs and milk they need. And people use animals' fur to make clothes or bags. What's more, some rare animals are valuable medicals. People should provide a safe environment to live, protecting them away from the dangers. Jane Goodall is a famous zoologist in the world, she lives with gorillas and monitors them in Tanzania forests for more than 50 years. Her works are not only making people learn more about gorillas, but also make a significant contribution to animal’s rights and protections.

In short, both humans and animals are owners of the earth. People take care of their pets as family members. Pets also bring luck and pleasures to their owners. Humans get the resources that they need from animals, therefore humans also have the responsibility to protect animals at the same time. The government also should set up animal protection zones in parks to help people living with animals harmoniously. Sharing the living environment that the earth gives to us.
