Why do People Need a Pet

Do you have a dog or another pet? No? Because they ate your homework, got sick and ended up dead? Ok, jusk joking. Well for me, I don’t have a dog, because well, duh, I don’t have any pets! The thing is, nobody in my family is allergic to fur, so why not have a cat? Later on, I found that nobody in my family even wanted a pet, because they found that it was difficult to care for it. What a bunch of lazy people! Anyway, on the other hand, my father managed to get me a cat, but once the other family members found out, it was a disaster. Well, that didn’t go as expected. So, now you can see why I don’t have any pets.

I actually want to have a dog, but… well, you get the idea. I have three reasons why I want a dog. Firstly, dogs can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise and playfulness, and even improve your cardiovascular health. Secondly, it can increase exercise. Taking a dog for a walk or run are fun and rewarding ways to be healthy. Studies have shown that dog owners are far more likely to meet their daily exercise requirements. Thirdly, it can help us meet new people. Pets can be a great social lubricant for their owners, helping us start and maintain friendships. So, dogs are pretty helpful once you know it.

Actually, people need dogs in many ways. Firstly, hunting. Hunting dogs can be used for killing animals and also different kinds.Terriers are smaller dogs which can be used to hunt small animals such as birds and rabbits. Gun dogs are mostly used during upland and wetland hunting to retrieve downed game. Hounds typically specialize in the chase and utilize a variety of noises to flush out game, used in hunting larger mammals. Secondly, sledding. Sledding dogs were used in sledding races, and sometimes delivering in the snow. The musher needed to have 20 sled dogs to be able to go into a sled team. Thirdly, the military. The military dogs were often used as guarding the troop to see if any stranger came in. if there is one, it would howl and bark to let the leader know there is an intruder. It’s a wonder that dogs are so useful in so many places!

If I had a pet, I would be so excited that I would jump all the way to the top of the building. Unfortunately, having a pet makes me worry about one problem: What if my pet dies and is taken by god? Well, I already planned it out. I would do these things: First, bury him and give a ritual. I would also like to carve a gravestone to remember him, who had always been my friend. Second, say a prayer. I would write a prayer to show how much he meant in our family, and how much I loved him. Third, let the pet R. I. P. I would also pray to god that the pet would live happily in the afterlife. So, you can see how much I care for animals and how meaningful a little animal is to me.

In conclusion, pets are meaningful. We must always remember the pet we have, because it might be useful in the future to you. Nothing compares to the joy of coming home to a loyal companion. The unconditional love of a pet can do more than keep you company. Pets may also decrease stress, improve heart health, and even help children with their emotional and social skills. Pets provide the non-complex, simple love, availability, and presence we live for. Pets aren't cognitively complex; they have their own minds but mainly live to connect and be present with us. So, protect your pets and most important of all, love them.
