Which character gives you the deepest impression in The Little Prince?

The Little Prince is a heartwarming novella written by a French pilot, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The little prince is an inquisitive and innocent boy who lives on Asteroid B612 with his favorite rose and two active volcanoes, one of which is perfect for making breakfast. He sets out to make friends by visiting seven other planets, where he meets various characters, including a power hungry king, a conceited man, a tippler, a greedy businessman, a lamplighter, a geographer and a pilot on the Earth. There are loads of characters in this story, but the little prince is the most innocent character which I like the most. His spirit represents a child hood’s simplicity.

Curiosity leads to understanding and growth. One thing that stands out about the little prince is his relentless curiosity. Once he asks a question, he never gives up until he understands the answer. He seeks to understand the world around him, which shows how curious and vagary he is. His character reminds me of the importance of keeping a childlike wonder and imagination even as we grow older. This story encourages me to view the world from a fresh and unstrained perspective.

True love requires effort and dedication. The little prince also has a loving heart, especially for his beautiful rose on his planet. He takes care of her by watering her, protecting her under a glass dome, and getting rid of caterpillars. This shows that even though he may seem heartless at times, he deeply cares about the things he loves. The fox he tamed taught him the secret that the time he invested in his rose makes her so important to him.

Moreover, as the fox says, “You become responsible, forever, for what you have tame.” The little prince's journey to discover new friends in the vast universe doesn't make him forget his responsibility for his rose. Just like how mothers need to take care of their babies, he understands the importance of being responsible for what we've tamed. The fox's wisdom about seeing things clearly with our hearts and recognizing the invisible essential aspects resonates with the little prince's experiences.

As far as I am concerned, The Little Prince is a touching novella that teaches us about curiosity, love, and responsibility. Through his journey, we learn about how important it is to keep our curiosity and imagination alive, even as we get older. The little prince's unwavering love for his rose show us the true essence of love and dedication. It reminds us that we need to cherish and be responsible for the things we love, just like the little prince with his beloved rose. His innocence, kindness, and curiosity makes him a special boy who captures the hearts of me.
