What Motivates People to be Nice?

One of the basic qualities of a community is caring and being nice. Being kind can be in many different ways, it can be donating money to the homeless, it can be including someone who has been left out, sharing your cookie with your friends or many many more forms, but what motivates people to be nice, why are they nice? Firstly being nice can make you feel good about yourself, secondly being kind can get you far in life as you can choose your friends if you are nice to everyone, lastly it is in our moral and our human nature for us to be nice to each other. People can be motivated to be nice if someone is nice to you, even if one was mean to another, if one is nice, then maybe the other person will change. It is a part of our human nature to be nice, we can easily be motivated to be kind to others.


Being nice to other people can give you a good feeling. When you are nice to someone you get the feeling like you achieved something. If one is nice to another, they will feel like they have made someone else happy, which may cause for themself to be happy. Happiness has a direct connection towards kindness. People are more motivated to be kind when they are in a good mood, it is the same, if you help make someone else’s day, that someone else will be in a good mood from which they can be kind to others. This creates a chain reaction of kindness and happiness, which can have a positive impact on society. Kindness and happiness can spread like flames and create a better world for everyone. This is why it's important to be kind to others. By creating an atmosphere of kindness, you can help spread happiness and create a better world. We can all be a part of this chain reaction and make a positive impact on society.
