Plot: Wolf was hungry

The story wolf! written by Becky Bloom talks about a wolf that keeps practicing his reading to become the best. One day, the wolf was very famished, so he went to a small farm. There were three animals reading. He howled and all the animals on the farm ran, except for the cow, the pig, and the duck that were reading. The animals said that this farm is for educated animals. The wolf went to school and became the best in class. And then he went back to the farm to empress the animals. Sadly, it was too easy. The next time, he read so many books until he couldn’t stop. Then, he went to the farm again but it was nonsense and without stopping. The wolf went to the library and bought his very own book! He read it day and night, he practiced it with feelings and passion. Finally, he went back to the farm and read story after story. The animals were amazed! They welcomed him as their new friend.


Friends have a significant impact on our lives, changing our behaviors and attitudes. Friends help us and change our lives into a brighter life. An old saying from old China is: one who stays near vermillion gets stained red, one who stays near ink gets stained black. In the story, the wolf became educated and became friends with the animals. The wolf wanted to be friends with the animals who love reading and he loved reading and became educated. Without friends, the wolf would never be an educated animal. This is the positive from the friends.


Being truly educated not only in intellectual abilities and Knowledge but also in life skills and social graces, manners, and politeness. Being educated can even help your life manners and transform us into better, more polite individuals. In the story, the wolf becomes more and more polite as he learns and reads more books.  Through his education, his manners, politeness, and his language all improved. Education plays an important role in not just knowledge but also our life skills and manners. 


If you want to reach a goal, you need to have perseverance and keep practicing. If you want to achieve something, you should practice. Practice makes perfect. In the story, The wolf keeps practicing his reading skills and becomes a good reader. The wolf never gives up on his storytelling and keeps on practicing day and night even if the animals say his reading was awful. He just keeps on practicing. To achieve your goal, you should practice every day.

Friends cause a lot of change in you, and you should learn from them. Being educated isn’t just about studying, it’s also about the manners in life. If you want to achieve something, never give up and keep practicing.
