This story talks about a woodcutter named Tomas who crafts a giant knock down tree
to a zoo. At beginning the neighbors wants to get rid of the tree. The woodcutter has a
better idea,he turn wood to a zoo that everybody can enjoy.
Don’t judge the book by its cover. When we see something we should not only look at
The outer side,we should care about its inner value. In the story neighbors want to get rid
of tree, but the woodcutter has better idea by saying:the beauty of this tree is not on the
outside but on the inside. The woodcutter finds the value of the tree by looking at the
interior. He makes good use of the wood instead of burning it.So,we shouldn’t look at the
things in one way,we should look at deeper and wider.
Good thing take time.If people want the work better than average, people should slow
down.In the story although the curious neighbors kept ask woodcutter questions, but he
isn’t get rush, also he works very hardly. He worked everyday until the se went down. This
paragraph teacher us no matter what other people do or what they say.If we want better
work than others ,we must slow down and focus what we do.
Team work is the key to success.Working together has lots of benefit like save time,
and also when we face difficulty things, team work can help and cover us.Without
neighbor’s help Tomas can’t move the wood animals to the square.IF the neighbors don’t
help Tomas he needs to do all the work by himself.Team work can do lots of things than
one person.Working together we can do more things.
We learn three things from this story, first do not judge things or person by its
appearance,we should look at the inside.Second,if we want better work than others we
must slow down our work.Third, teamwork is easier than one person’s work.
