The Secret Garden is a children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett first published in book form in 1911. It talks about a girl named Mary, a neglected and unloved 10-year-old girl, born in British India to wealthy British parents. She is cared for primarily by native servants, who spoil her and allow her to have free rein. After a cholera epidemic kills her parents, Mary is left alone when the few surviving servants flee. Then she was sent to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven. Then, she finds Colin, gets the key, and makes friends with Colin…… At last, she made the family happy, and lived together.

Friendship is an important part of life that brings joy, support, and a sense of belonging to people who are living outside. Friendship can be the silk of hope when we are lost in things, and it can be the support of us to keep going. In the story, Colin finds his hope by having Mary and Dickon as his friends so he has recovered and comes back to health. Friendship can help people feel a sense of belonging, and make them feel at home when they are far from home. Friendship is a special connection that brings happiness, trust, and support to our lives and people.

Nature is a beautiful and powerful thing that provides life, inspiration, and balance to the world, and people. Nature can do many things that humans can’t do, and it is more powerful than anything on Earth, it can destroy anything. In the story, nature makes Colin come back to health, and it also makes Mary become a good child. Nature can sometimes be weak on the surface, but it is actually stronger than anything on Earth, and it can also change people or change anything. Nature is a vital part of our world, a habitat for countless plants and animals, all while inspiring people with its beauty and power.

Thinking positively can help us overcome challenges and create a happier, more successful life. When we meet a wall that we can't cross, we can’t sit down and stop, but we need to think of a way to cross it. In the story, Mary makes Colin think positively that he actually can walk but just doesn't want to stand up. When we think positively, we start to feel more hopeful, which can help us find better problem-solving solutions, healthier choices, and ways to solve problems. Positive thinking helps us stay motivated and face all kinds of challenges and risks with confidence, hope, and optimism.

Happiness comes from within and is shaped by our attitude, relationships, and the way we choose to see the world. True happiness comes from within and is often tied to how we view and experience the world around us. In the story, Colin has recovered from illness because of his happiness with Mary.  Happiness is discovered through the healing power of nature, personal growth, and meaningful relationships. Happiness is about appreciating the present moment, forming deep connections, and embracing life’s simple pleasures.

In conclusion, this is a warm and touching book. The book tells us Friendship is an important part of life that brings joy, support, and a sense of belonging to people who are living outside,  Thinking positively can help us overcome challenges and create a happier, more successful life, Happiness comes from within and is shaped by our attitude, relationships, and the way we choose to see the world. Except for this, I also learn many things in this book. I recommend you to read this book. You will love it.
