The story The Secret Garden written by Frances Eliza Hodgson Burnett talks about a little girl that was sent to her uncle. Mary Lennox is sent to live with her uncle after both her parents die of cholera. Mary hates it there at first, but soon warms to it, even making friends with a little robin. Mary learns the story of the locked-up garden and is determined to find it. She discovers a secret garden that magically changes her behaviour and attitude toward everything. With the help of her cousin Colin Craven and local boy Dickon, Mary begins to restore the garden, and as it blooms back to life, so do the spirits of the children.
Growth which we call grow up and it has two ways. There is one called personal growth and public growth. A personal growth is a place where not many people know and it could be only you and you spent a lot of time in that secret place. In this story, Mary and Colin had a personal growth in the secret garden in the factory. And in a public growth, it’s like an orphanage or something. It's where everyone knows and goes there often. Because of the secret garden, they changed their spoiled attitude and became sweet and independent.
Parent’s love is always needed in our life. Mary’s parents died and Colin’s mom died but his dad just left him to the nurse and all the maids to take good care of. And because of that, Calin and Mary all grew up in the love of maids. In this story, Mary's parents died so she was sent to live with her onliest relatives. Her uncle and cousin. Her uncle wasn’t really nice. He didn’t care much at all. Her cousin Colin was nothing better. He was sick and lied that he was going to die and everyone spoiled him.
Friendship is important to us and all. Without friends by your side, you would be sad and lonely all the time. And only real friends make you feel comfortable. They help you to be happy and joyful. Friends also teach you things you don’t know but they do. Like for example in this story, Colin and Mary became friends when they met because they understood each other’s feelings without a family love. Friends are for helping and tolerating. If you help me, I will help you. When we make a mistake, we teach each other. Friendship is an infinity sign because it's friends forever.
Nature has a lot of plants and beautiful creatures. Plants make oxygen so in nature, oxygen is all natural and there is absolutely no bacteria in them. Nature is also helpful to people and animals. Nature means waterfall and berries. People need berries to eat to survive and animals need to drink water from a lake that is crystal clear or else, they could get sick. In this story, they discovered a secret garden in the factory and no one else knows. They spent their time in the garden having fun and slowly started to not get spoiled. Nature is full of love and fresh air that everyone needs.
