Story Review of The Sand Castle

The Sand Castle talks about a elderly grandmother named Masha, who desperately wants to experience what it feels like to be in the sun again. Due to Global warming, the government has proven the sun can be harmful for humans. So Masha and her family, along with more residents of the community, have to wear protective clothing like sunscreen, gloves, and glasses. She does not approve or like this situation, because she had loved to go to the beach and get exposed to the sun a lot when she was small. She did not like how they had to wear so much protective clothing because in her opinion, everyone should be free. Because of this, she is very keen to show her grandchildren what the beach is like and how the sun feels on their skin. Masha is a little annoyed that the children at first were not at all eager. She decides to persuade them to build a nice sandcastle, in order to let them experience the sun’s rays of warmth. THe Sand Castle talks about Masha, who really enjoys the usna nd tries to get her family to love it too.

Global Warming has affected the earth by heating it, and is mainly caused by humans littering and polluting our environment. Global Warming is a gigantic crisis that can affect habits, environments and other situations we can not control. Global warming refers to the long-term increase in Earth's average surface temperature primarily caused by human activities, particularly the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The phenomenon is a significant aspect of climate change and has far-reaching implications for the environment, ecosystems, and human societies. The consequences of global warming are already being observed across the globe. One of the most evident impacts is the rise in average global temperatures. The last few decades have seen a steady increase in temperature, leading to the melting of glaciers and polar ice caps, rising sea levels, and more frequent and severe extreme weather events like hurricanes, droughts, and heatwaves. global warming is an urgent and complex issue that demands immediate action. Its impacts are already affecting our planet, ecosystems, and societies. By taking proactive measures to reduce emissions and promote sustainable practices, there is hope for mitigating the worst effects of global warming and ensuring a more sustainable and resilient future for all.

Legacy refers to the lasting impact and influence that an individual, organization, or idea leaves behind. It is the mark they make on the world, the contributions they make, and the way in which they are remembered and celebrated. Legacy is not limited to any particular field or domain; it can be associated with leaders, artists, scientists, athletes, philanthropists, or any person who has made a significant and meaningful difference in their respective area of expertise.A legacy can take many forms. It can be the result of groundbreaking discoveries and inventions that shape the course of history. For example, figures like Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, and Marie Curie have left behind a scientific legacy through their theories and contributions to the understanding of the universe. Their work continues to inspire and guide generations of scientists and researchers. When she was a child, Masha would always go out to the beach with her parents and play in the sun. That time, the sun was still warm and it was safe and fun to go outside in the daylight. HOwever, it is extremely sad that Masha experienced the sun’s burning rays when she had to go outside. So, her family and her had to wear cumbersome and uncomfortable clothing, in order to survive the deadly rays. Masha’s point of life at this part, she has experienced a mid life crisis, and a giant major crisis too. This is becasue hs missed out on going into the sun, something she enjoyed so much of it when she was small. But then, she lost some things he loved the most, and experienced this sad moment that gave her the giant crisis she has. Legacy is important to leave behind, because it can show and inspire others to do the same.

Flashbacks are vivid and involuntary memories or sensory experiences that transport an individual back to a specific moment from their past. They are often associated with traumatic events or intense emotional experiences. During a flashback, the person may re-experience the sights, sounds, smells, and emotions of the original event as if they were happening in the present moment. When a person experiences a flashback, they may feel a loss of connection with their current surroundings, becoming fully absorbed in the memories and sensations of the past. The intensity and duration of flashbacks can vary greatly from person to person. Some individuals may have brief, fleeting flashbacks, while others may endure prolonged and distressing episodes. The examples of flashbacks are in the story of the Sand Castels, where Masha has flashbacks to where she had been in the warmth when she was small. Her flashbacks contain the feelings of sadness and longing for it, again. The boundaries between past and present can become blurred, leading the person to believe they are reliving the traumatic experience.

The complex issue of global warming has prompted a wide range of attitudes and responses, ultimately leading to significant changes in our lives. The threat of climate change has united scientists, policymakers, and individuals worldwide in recognizing the urgent need for action. While some continue to deny or downplay the severity of the problem, a growing majority acknowledges the undeniable evidence and is actively working towards sustainable solutions. The collective understanding of the consequences of global warming has fostered a sense of responsibility and a call for transformative changes across various sectors, from energy production and consumption to transportation and agriculture. As we navigate this critical period, it is crucial to promote further awareness, foster cooperation, and implement comprehensive strategies to mitigate the effects of global warming and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.
