The story the little prince written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry talks about a little boy that drew a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. He showed it to his parents but they said it looked like a hat so the little boy decided to draw his number two. The inside of the drawing number one. Then, he showed it again but only to get an answer to tell him to stop drawing and focus on studies. So, he decided to be a pilot and years passed by, he was a pilot but he crashed straight into the sahara desert. Then, he saw a little prince asking him to please draw a sheep and it ended up being a box with the sheep inside it. And so, they went traveling to six different planets and each other stranger and stranger.
Imagination is something not everyone has. It is hard to be imaginative. You have to know how much to imagine and it can’t be too realistic. In this story, only the little prince understood that drawing of the so-called “hat”. Only he understood him and the other adults all thought it was just a simple and plain hat. Only this little prince knew exactly what picture one was. Every other adult thought it was a hat. He was imaginative and the one the pilot always wanted to find. Imagination isn’t difficult if you think outside the world like for example seas monsters or things that don't exist. Being able to imagine things is not as easy as it looks.
Don’t just take guesses that adults are fun because it is worse than being a child. Being an adult has to take over a lot of responsibilities. Like in this novella, the little boy had to deal with lots and lots of things over time and sometimes get mad. In the adult world, they have no time for imagination or something. They need to pay bills and pay for things we do and eat and need. All that money comes from hard work because money doesn't fall from the rain. Adults' lives are dull and plain. They don’t get to do fun things very often.
Love and responsibility are like connected to each other. If you love something, then you are responsible for that thing. Just like in this story, the little prince loved his rose so much since it was the onliest one on his planet. On his way, he met a fox and the fox said that: “It's the time that you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important.” This was to let him know that no matter what, you are the one responsible for your rose and you were the one that loved it so much. They have already tamed each other and love each other because they are friends. Love is responsibility and it can never be lost.
