This is a story about a man called Chirobo who always wanted to be a hunter but the only problem is that he was blind. So one day, another man called Muteye. Chirobo found out that Muteye was a hunter so he asked if he could join in, but Muteye said no because he is blind and he can’t even see danger or anything but still Chirobo still came along and showed him that he is wrong. But instead of Chirobo using his eyes, he used the five senses ( but not looking with eyes ) and actually, it worked really well. But at the end of the story, Chirobo and Muteye were catching birds but Muteye took a peek and saw that Chirobo had a big chicken and he had only a small bird so he switched but at the end, Chirobo found out and he forgave Muteye.
Not judging someone by his or her outlook. This is an important one because like if there is a person and she or he looks weird then we shouldn't just think “Oh she or he is weird I don’t want to meet her” because he or she might be kind - hearted on the inside. In this story, Muteye says to Chirobo that he can’t hunt because he is blind but he proved him wrong that he is actually really smart and intelligent and he could use other ways than just using his eyes. We shouldn’t judge someone by his or her outlook because whatever they look like doesn't matter, what matters is about their heart. We shouldn’t judge someone by his or her outward appearance in any way. We should never judge someone by her or his outward appearance.
Also trust, trust is an important one because if we didn't have trust then we have nothing. Like if we work at a company and we told that someone a secret about the company and then the person that we trust told the boss about the secret and probably we will get fired and we don’t have a job or food or money. In this story Muteye stole the bird from Chirobo’s basket and he switched it with a small bird that was in his basket but it turned out to be that Chirobo eventually found out and maybe Muteye should have become a better trustworthy person. Friends definitely should have trust because if one tells a secret then maybe the other will get in trouble. We should always become a trustworthy person so other people will actually like us and treat us nicely.
And of course kindness, everyone should be kind to each other so we don’t feel bad when we do anything but maybe if you act kind to them then they might act the same way to us. Like if we are in school and we say something mean to someone ike “Hey you can’t do that because you look so bad” that may feel good to us but the person who we said to might not do the thing that they want to do anymore and maybe it is a great thing about the future like they want to change the world. In this story, Chirobo was nice to everyone so everyone came to visit him and ask questions to him and they treat him nicely because he treats him nicely too. We should always treat someone the way that we want to be treated. Always be kind so other people will respect us and treat us the same way that we treated them.
Now we know why and how Chirobo acts and treats other people nicely. Don’t judge people by his or her outlook because we never know what is their real heart on the inside. It doesn’t matter about the outlook and the appearance, all it matters is our heart and our actions to treat people. Trust, we should always be a trustworthy person so if one person isn’t feeling well and wants to tell someone, then they might choose us because they think that we are more trustworthy and we can tell them what to do and they might calm down. And finally we should treat people the way that we want to be treated because if you want to be treated nicely then we should treat others nicely so they will know that we treat them nice and they will treat us nicely.
