Unfortunately, her family could not afford the money and she had to take care of her younger siblings. Whenever she passed the village school, she would look envied. Luckily, it all changed when some kind families donated a goat to them. Instead of eating the goat, she milked the goat Mugisia and sold it to other people. With her help, she had enough money to go to school. At the ending of the story, Beatrice kissed Mugisia and went to school happily.
It is possible to lift poverty if we are given the right tools. Poverty is a serious socioeconomic problem faced by millions of people on the whole planet, which is also the same situation described in the story. It illustrates Beatrice turning her gift into a profit by milking the goat and producing more lambs to accumulate her fortune.
