Once upon a time, there was a boy named Amaroq, he was named after the wolf who had saved her life. They lived in Eskimo village with their mother, and father. One day, Julie came home with two wolf pups. She asked Amaroq to take care of one, so she can take care of the other. Julie then warned Amaroq not to love the pup, because it will break his heart, but instead of saying, I won’t love the pup, Amaroq said, it won’t break my heart. They ate, slept, played together, they were never apart. When the wolves called, Amaroq led Nutik far away from the wolves, but then when he was asleep, the wolves called for Nutik, Nutik gentilly awakened Amaroq, and they stepped into the cold. Amaroq realized that Nutik was taking him to his family, but then he hugged Nutik for a long moment, and walked home. His sister woke him for breakfast, but he didn’t want to eat, he had in his sleeping bag, it was really warm, Nutik was hiding there, when Julie saw, she told the wolves that Nutik had joined their family, and the wolves replied, that is good.
The love between Amaroq, and Nutik is really strong, love between humans and animals is really strong too, and love is not only among humans. Amaroq, and Nutik’s love is really strong because, Amaroq took good care of Nutik, if he doesn’t like Nutik, then he won’t take so much care for him, the love between humans, and animals, are strong because, we have vets for sick animals, that means the love between humans, and animals are also strong, love is not only among humans, for example, a owner of a dog died, the dog will be sad, and will not feel comfortable without the owner, so animals also have feelings. In the story, when Nutik left Amaroq, he did not eat, also, Nutik hugged Amaroq for a long time. That means that the love between Amaroq, and Nutik is really strong, and animals have feelings too. That is why the love between Amaroq, and Nutik is really strong, love between humans, and animals is also very strong, and lastly, love is not only among us.
The relationship between humans, and animals is good because we need animals to live, and also, we are not allowed to hurt a wild animal. Our relationship with animals sometimes needs to be better, because in Artica, the ice is melting because of climate change, but almost everyone is still using cars that need fuel, and almost nobody is caring for them, that is a major problem, because polar bears, and penguins, could become extinct! In the story, Amaroq’s relationship with the wolf pup is good, because Amroq would feed Nutik everyday, and make sure he is healthy, also because they decided to help the wolf pack by caring for the sick pups. I think that is right, but Nutik still needs to go out in the wild, and learn some survival skills, because we should not keep wild animals which don’t belong here. That is why the relationships between humans, and animals are good, but sometimes need to be better.
I think we should have more animal hospitals, and less animal fighting, we should not hurt animals on purpose, and we should use less fuel, and fight climate to help animals, we should learn more about them, and protect them. We should do this so that our relationships get better with them, because if we don’t have a good relationship with them, then we won’t understand them well, so we won’t know how to take good care of them, and if they go extinct, then we are next. In the story, Amaroq took good care of Nutik, and Nutik was healthy, and Nutik was taken care of properly. I think that is right, and we should be like Amaroq, and take care of animals that are sick, and need help. That is what we should do to make our relationships with animals better.
This story talks about a boy named Amaroq who had a pup. I think the story is good, because it teaches us many lessons, the love between Amaroq, and Nutik, the love between humans, and animals, love is not only among humans, relationship between humans, and animals, and lastly, what should we do, also, the illustrations are really beautiful, and it is also a good story, because it teaches us a writing skill: detailed description. I think that people, and animals need to follow the ways of nature because animals know how to hunt in the wild, and we know how to live in houses, but we don’t know how to live in nature, and they don’t know how to live in houses, so we should not mix it up, when we live in houses, and animals in the wild, it is perfect. They should not be kept by humans because they need to go back to the wild, and learn the survival skills that their parents are going to teach. The wolves gave Nutik, and Uqaq, to Amaroq, and his big sister Julie, because the pups are sick, but they don’t have medicine, so they gave it to them just to make them more healthy, not to keep them like pets.
