Story Review of Mystic Horse

A boy and his old horse, being poor, are ridiculed by a group of men. However, the horse speaks to the boy and tells him to cover him in mud and ride him into battle with a willow stick. The boy follows the instructions to do it four times and is successful in defeating the enemy. Inspired by the boy's bravery, the men declare him as Boy Chief, but the boy is saddened by the loss of his horse, who had been mortally wounded after he broke the rules and did it a fifth time. However, the boy witnesses a miracle as the horse comes back to life, and tells him to lead him to a hill and wait four days. After four days, the horse takes a herd of horses back to the village and gifts some of them to other people while keeping the others for themselves. care of his grandmother for the rest of her life.
