Story Review of Mystic Horse

In this well moraled story, a boy takes care of a mythical horse. If you don't follow rules explicitly, someone will make sure you receive punishment. Affection and concern for something are ways to make sure it lasts for a longer amount of time or even makes it become better over time. Just because someone doesn’t pay attention to you, doesn’t mean you don’t help them. The boy is actually very caring but only helps when he is well off first. The story highlights the importance of care and devotion in maintaining or improving something, as demonstrated by a boy's care for the mythical horse, proving its worth.

Perpetrators of any kind that do bad things will be punished. If you do something wrong, something will happen to you as punishment. Similarly with the law, if you do something that is considered a crime, you get punished for it. It is basic human nature that if you do something wrong, someone else always tries to punish you. In the story, the boy is told to strike four times, no more, no less, but still decides it is a good idea to go five times instead; the horse perishes due to his ill made decision to go again. This is his punishment for going again, as God makes clear, he didn’t listen, which was wrong, so this was his punishment. The unlucky arrow in this case is the sign of punishment for not listening to the horse explicitly and accurately. This story is one of the best examples of if you do something wrong, you’ll be punished. This shows how all actions have their consequences. He is a boy who needed to learn his lesson, but the grief should not be that harsh. His punishment was so harsh in fact, God forgave him for his wrongdoing in not listening as he mourned. Law breakers will pay for their crimes.

Being compassionate and comforting for something ensures that it will stay well and it might be even better than at the start. If you care for something, it will last longer than without concern and care. Irv Gordon, who bought a brand new, unused Volvo P1800S in 1966 and drove it to an insane Guinness World Record length of 3.2 million miles because he cared for it well. Concern for something is apt motivation and devotion that will keep it in very good shape, even send it into a state of constant benefit. The boy intensively cares for the horse as it will get stronger, he will participate in the buffalo hunt, and they will no longer be poor and overlooked. He hopes that the horse is more than what meets the eye because he needs a good horse to join the buffalo hunt and this horse is very thin, has many signs of unhealthiness and won’t be able to, but does more than prove itself in the battle.  They apparently underestimated how strong the horse was as they thought because even though it was then well cared for, it still was a surprise how fast the horse went into battle. Care is what makes everything maintained or improved.

Even if no one ever cares about you, it shouldn’t stop you from still helping the community. Being kind is important, even if no one else takes pity on you or even considers you as a person, you still help them when you can. No one is kind enough to really pay attention to the poor boy and woman that are at the far ends of the camp and they’re extremely poor; they always stay behind to pick up food scraps. They are the poor people, the people not ever considered as actual people, he still helps them when he is in a position to help them. This is shown especially through the part where he is crowned and noticed, he still gives the legendary horses to the ‘people that needed them most’ even though those people ignored him when he needed it most. He is a good person at heart and knows to give back to people. Helping someone is good, but you only help someone if you are in a position to help them; you don’t help someone if you are very poor and find a huge piece of bread, you don’t give it to other poor people (help yourself before helping others). He helps them when he has extra horses. If you are ignored, it doesn't give you the right to not help people.

In conclusion, this good book has a great lesson to learn, captivates the reader’s attention really well, and overall, has an intriguing plot. In the story, a boy's rash decision to strike a horse leads to its death, illustrating the consequences of wrongdoing. Benevolence and cordiality can make something stay well, as demonstrated by Irv Gordon's Guinness World Record drive. Even if no one pays attention, caring and helping the community is important, as demonstrated by the poor boy and woman who continue to give back to those in need.
