For the whole day, Mr. Putter is always alone and he cannot share his stuff. He wants to have company. He wants a cat to be his friend, so he goes to a pet store. But, in the pet store he sees kittens, and in his mind he hopes for a cat. The pet store lady says no one wants a cat as they are not cute and not peppy. She tells Mr. Putter to go to the shelter, maybe there is a cat. And he goes to the shelter to adopt a cat. Mr. Putter calls her Tabby. In the following days, Tabby and Mr. Putter share breakfast, tea, and stories. Now they live happily ever and ever.
We should not throw away cats and dogs because they are very sad to be living alone and they’ll get hurt. Cats and dogs are people’s friends and they can play with us,sleep with us and eat with us. We can’t just think, “I’m alone and I need dogs and cats,” and when we are working and busy and they want us to play with them, we throw them away. No, don’t do that because they are just pets and they want to play with instead of being thrown away. In the story Mr. Putter adopts the old yellow cat from the shelter where stray cats and dogs are kept. Mr. Putter doesn’t buy cats in pet stores. Instead, he just goes to a shelter to adopt cats. They have been thrown away by their owners before. I think Mr. Putter’s adopting a cat is good because he adopts an old yellow cat before it is killed by the gardener. Everyone needs to take care of their pets because they are your family, imagine someone throwing your mom away and you are sad right, the pet feels like this too!
Kittens and cats are the same because kittens will be cats in future, and cats were kittens in the past. Big cats and small Kittens can be our company and play with us. There are only Kittens in the store, but Mr. Putter doesn’t change his mind, and he chooses Tabby, the cat. Mr. Putter wants a cat. This means that they can share things, play with each other, and tell stories. All this changes Mr. Putter’s life and he won’t be alone again. I think cats and kittens are the same because they all can change Mr. Putter’s life and change Mr. Putter to not be alone.
People need to have company because we will be alone if someone in our family is on a business trip or someone’s time is gone. In school, if we don't have a friend we will be alone. Friends can help each other and play with each other. In the story, Mr. Putter shares an English muffin together with Tabby at breakfast. In the afternoon and evening they share tea with each other. In the evenings Mr. Putter tells stories to Tabby .In summer, they enjoy the sun. In autumn, they take a walk and look at trees. In winter, they open the opera and enjoy it together. Mr. Putter and Tabby will be alone if they live without each other. They are not alone again when they meet each other and become best friends. Company is very important because if we don’t have friends we will be alone.
At the beginning of the story, Mr. Putter is alone until he adopts Tabby. At the end of the story Mr. Putter and Tabby share breakfast, afternoon tea, and stories. They also enjoy sun, trees, and opera together. So they are not alone. People need to have friends and animals need to have company too. Everyone will be alone at sometime! We have friends so we won’t be alone. We should not throw away cats or dogs because they are our friends. Cats and kittens are the same because they all can play with us, sleep with us, and eat with us; this means that they all can be our company.
