Mr. Putter is an old man. He lives alone and feels lonely. He decides to buy a cat from a pet store but there are no cats but kittens. He goes to the shelter and gets an orange old cat named Tabby. Mr. Putter shares muffin and tea with Tabby. He also shares his story and his life with Tabby. Mr. Putter enjoys living with Tabby now.
I learnt that we should find someone like us as a good company. Some people have similar personalities like you do. You may easily become friends. In the story, Mr. Putter found a cat, Tabby, who is just like him. Because they are both old and they like to eat muffins, drink tea, take walks and sleep. We should find someone kind of like ourselves and try to be friends.
I also learnt that don’t judge a book from its cover. Kittens are definitely cute but old cats can be a great company too. In the story, Mr. Putter was sad because he didn’t have a company to share food and stories. So he decided to have an old cat. Maybe the cat is not that pretty and playful like a kitten, but she likes everything Mr. Putter does. Mr. Putter made the right decision on having an old cat who enjoys living with him.
Last but not least, I also learnt that we should share our resources with others. There are two reasons. First maybe they really need it. Secondly, sharing makes you feel good. In the story, everyday since Mr. Putter got Tabby, they would always share their stuff. Mr. Putter felt so happy, while Tabby felt so happy too. We should always share because it is nice and you can make friends.
In conclusion, I learnt that friendship is important. We should try to find someone who is similar to us as a good company. We shouldn’t make friends based on their looks but inside. Once you find your friends, you will enjoy your life everyday! Mr. Putter found Tabby and they had a lot of similarities. They will enjoy their lives everyday because they are friends!
