The story <Grace for President> written by Kelly Dipucchio, talks about one morning in September, Mrs. Harrington rolled out a big poster with all the presidents in America’ pictures on the wall. Grace noticed that there is no girl and she is kind of not satisfied. She wants to be the woman president. The next day, Mrs. Barrington made an announcement. There are two candidates: Grace and Thomas Cobb. Thomas is doing nothing, but Grace is doing almost everything she promises. Finally Grace won.

Let’s follow the story of how to run for president: Firstly, there must be two candidates for president. Secondly, the two candidates need to get votes. They will have their own campaign and make their own posters and buttons. They make up their own promises. Thirdly, they will meet with their constituents, especially the most important states. Finally, voters were making their choices. Thomas is doing nothing, Grace is doing almost everything. On the day to show the votes, Grace won.

The human race is made of both boys and girls, girls are full of positive energy, girls can do what boys can do well. Girl can be anything she wants to be, no one in this world can defeat it. In the story, Grace wants to be the first woman president. She's running for president with Thomas. Thomas is a smart boy, but he doesn't do anything, and Grace keeps her campaign promises, does everything she can, and gets elected president. Grace is not as smart as Thomas, but she keeps her promise to serve everyone and gets everyone's recognition. girls should love life, try to do our best, and let our life shine.

Promises do not bring results, to do the promised things will achieve the goal. When people make promises, they feel that they can do it, and only those who insist on fulfilling their promises can gain. In the story, Thomas promises free tutoring, free soccer lessons, but he does nothing. Grace promises A Peaceful School and A Cleaner School, then she joins the safety squad, she organizes a school beautification committee. Grace made good on her promises, she won the trust and was elected president. The more me give, the closer we’ll get to our goal.

In conclusion, this is a very positive story that talks about a girl named Grace Campbell, who campaigned for the school’s female president through hard work. I learned a lot from this story. Firstly, I know how to campaign for president in the United States. Secondly, Every girl should be confident and full of energy, seriously do everything, the world will be more beautiful because of beautiful girls. Last but not the least, do what we promise, it is important to be a trustworthy person. I highly recommend this book to you, and I hope you like it.
