Dear Juno is written by Soyung Pak and illustrated by Susan Kathleen Hartung. This story is about Juno and his Grandma, writing letters to each other. At first Grandma send Juno a letter but inside was filled with Korean words Juno can’t understand. But then he read it out by himself ! At school his teacher pined it onto a board. All day long, Juno looked at the letter. He thought that his Grandma might also want a letter, so he made one when he got back home. But instead of words in the letter, there were a lot of drawings in it ! After a long time a big envelope came and it was from Grandma. Inside was a box of crayon, which Juno knew it means that his Grandma wants another letter. There was also an airplane, which at this point Juno smiled. Grandma is going to visit Juno.
Family communication is a very good way to help us communicate with our family members that is far away. Family communication can help us know what’s going on with the family member that isn’t with us. In the story teacher pinned the letter onto a board because this is a sign of family communication between Juno and his Grandma. Family communication is good at informing us about the family member, who isn’t with us. Family communication help us remember the family members that live far away from us.
Not all letters have words in it. Sometime family members just put something in a letter, and we often will know what they want. In the story Grandma sent Juno a box of crayons, and Juno knew Grandma wants to get another letter. Not every letter has words to tell us what is going on or what we need to do. A letter doesn’t always contain words to let us understand what the person, who sent it to us ,want to tell us.
If we really love someone, we would want to send letter that person, in order to remember them. We would want to know about that person, to let that person be always remembered in us. In the story, Juno and his Grandma send messages to each other so that they both can remember each other. if we love someone very much then we would want to learn about that person, so that we can remember that person for a long time. Loving one very much can make us remember that person very deeply.
Not all letters contain words to tell us what our family members or friends is telling us. Letters sometimes just contain a thing or two for us to understand want they are telling usAlso if we love someone very much we would want to learn about that person, in order to remember that person very deeply. Letters is a sign of family communication. Letters can help us think of a person so that we would want to stay in touch of that person.
