Plot: Bernardi and babu are selling toys to make money for school
The story “babu’s song” talks about a boy named Bernardi and his grandpa who is mute. They are selling toys to make money for living. One day, when Bernardi is getting materials for babu, he saw a ball that cost more than going to school. And he wants it. At home, babu gave him a gift, a music box. The next day, a lady came and asked to have the music box. She handed out a lot of money. He said yes and ran to get the ball. At home, he said that he regrets selling the music box. Babu used the money to pay for school. And made him a soccer ball.
Education is the most important thing. Kids go to schools to learn to prepare for growing up. If there are no schools, kids will not learn. They won’t even know what 1+1 equals. In the story, Babu paid for school but not the ball. Why? Because he knows that Bernardi has to go to school and learn. Children learn to get their brains working. If not, then when they grow up they don’t know how to do anything. So, school is important.
Love is the most important thing in a family, even if it is a poor family. Families always have love, even if it is a poor or rich family. In the story, Bernrdi lives in a poor family with his grandpa. And they still have love. For example, Babu gave him a music box for a gift. That is expressing love. Families always have love. So, Love is the most important thing in a family, even if it is a poor family.
