The story <My Very Own Room> written by Amada Irma Pérez illustrated by Maya Christina Gonzalez talks about a nine-year-old girl Majita who shares a crowded room with her five younger brothers and dreams of having her own room. With the help of her family, she turns a storage closet into her own space and decorates it with furniture, paint, and a lamp. She also collects Blue Chip stamps to buy a lamp and visits the library to fill her room with books. The story highlights the importance of family and determination in achieving one's dreams.

Our own hopeness of privacy makes us grow up and it’s a bright hallmark in our life, privacy is a well known human need that should be respected and protected. It means we have our own things and we don't want others to know a lot about it. In the story, Majita wants some privacy and her own space, that means she growed up. Majita's desire for privacy and personal space suggests that she has matured and she wants a space to read books and some of her own things. While spending time with our family is great, we also need some time to be alone and just be ourself.

Family gives us love, sharing, respect and carness. Family is not only a community, but also a commitment to sharing and caring for one another. Family is our strongest fortress, when we are kids, we grow up here, when we grow up, family gives us a haven for the soul. In the story, all the family helped Majita move the storage closet to her room, and at last she shared her new room. Although this is a poor family, it is very pleasant and warm for family members to respect each other, share difficulties for each other and work hard for one thing together. Family is our harbor of our soul, it is building strong and positive relationships, and ultimately creating a better world for everyone.

Creativity and optimism make us full of ideas and solve problems quickly even when we are in a desperate situation. Embrace your unique perspective and don't be afraid to take risks in order to unleash your creativity. In the story, Majita’s creativity makes her opinion of making the closet to her room and all the solutions they get when they meet the problems. Majita's resourcefulness is shown in suggesting a communal space in the closet room to hers. In conclusion, creativity is an invaluable skill that can be developed and harnessed to solve problems and bring new ideas to life.

In conclusion, this story talks about how a girl in a poor family makes her own room with the help of all her family. I learned a lot from this story: Firstly, we all need our own privacy and space. It allows us to have some alone time, privacy, and gives us a sense of control over our lives. Secondly, family is a place where we help and respect each other forever, when we are sad it always helps us get better. Last but not the least, creativity can make our life very beautiful. We can be full of ideas and solve problems fastly. I like this story very much and strongly recommend it to you, hope you like it, too.
