The story “ Mr. Putter and Tabby See The Stars “ talks about an old man named Mr. Putter and his cat named Tabby. He had a neighbor named Mrs. Teaberry. She likes to feed Mr. Putter. She would always send her dog, Zeke, to Mr. Putter’s House with a letter that read “Are you hungry?“ and he always said yes. One day, he ate too many jellyrolls at Mrs. T’s house, now his stomach is grumbling. He couldn’t sleep, so he and Tabby went out for a walk. They met Mrs. T and her dog Zeke had a grumbling stomach too. They talked and when the grumbling stopped, they went home.
Pets are good company for people, especially for old people. People grow up and leave their family and start a family of their own. They feel lonely. In the story, Mrs. Teaberry has a dog named Zeke. Mr. Putter has a cat named Tabby. Sometimes people still need to talk. So they talk to their pets. Even though the pet does not understand, we still have love. So, pets are good company for people
Good neighbors can be very good friends. When you get old, you leave your parents house and move to your own house. At that time, you feel lonely.
