In Lewa Wildlife Conservation, a girl named Tiva wants a puppy, but
puppies are not allowed there. At the same time, a baby rhino named Lola is
born to a blind mother rhino. Lola’s mother can’t take care of her, so Tiva
starts to feed and teach Lola how to survive.
From this story, I learn about the living habits of rhino. In order to protect
the skin from the sun, they need to wallow in the mud. In the story, Tiva
teaches Lola to wallow. When Lola has to live in the wild alone, she must get
this skill. I also learn about other living habits of rhinos from this story.
I think Tiva is a loving and caring girl. She does a lot of things for Lola,
and becomes friend of Lola. She learns to feed Lola, she picks bugs off Lola’s
body, and teaches Lola to wallow. She always remembers the time spent with
Lola. It’s not easy to take care of a rhino, but she always has love and
patience.
Also I know that many people are protecting wild animals. Wild animals
roam free in Wildlife Conservancy. Rangers watch over them. Lola is saved by
the rangers, and is brought to a saft place near Tiva’s house. Lola grows up
and is sent back to nature at last. Because of people’s efforts, the nature is
protected.
This is the true story of Tiva and Lola. It tells us about living habits of
rhino. Tiva is a loving and caring girl. Many people are protecting wild animals,
so that we can enjoy the nature.
