There is a girl name Liz who is 8 years old and a boy name Chad who is 6 years old. They are sisters and brothers. They are sitting on the steps of the house and they are talking. Liz says: “ Chad, Do you want to set up a shop? ” Chad says: “ sure! Let’s look for what we can sell .” They are running into the house, Liz finds a chess set, Chad picks up a pirate ship with shells on it, “ Liz, can I sell it ?” says Chad. Liz says: “ Of course, let’s go to the shed !” Chad and Liz set up a shop in the shed. Suddenly their father comes over , and dad asks: “ What are you doing ?” The kids say: “ Dad, we are going to sell this thing.” Dad is very angry and says: “ Chad, Liz, that is my ship and my chess set, you have to sell your own thing, not mine.” Then dad takes the ship and the chess set away. They are sad that dad takes these. Then they discuss what they could sell for their stuff. That is the end of Liz and Chad’s shop.
If I have the chance to start a business, I would like to sell lemonade at the park in the summer, because there is a big playground in the park, like swings, ziplines and slides. There are also some baseball games around the summer. When the children are tired from playing in the park , they will come and buy my lemonade. Here is how I make the lemonade. First, I get out a big glass bottle. Second, take out some lemon and squeeze the juice. Third, pour honey, soda water and ice into it. Last, mix them together and put it in the refrigerator. I also need some plastic cups and straw. I write “ICED LEMONADE, $2 FOR A CUP” on a big whiteboard. Finally, I put ice lemonade and lots of ice in the cooler box . Then sell it !
This is my idea of business. When I think about it, I’m very excited !
