This story Mr Putter and Tabby See the Stars by Cynthia Rylant talks about Mr. putter and Tabby could not sleep one night because he has a lot lot of pineapple jellyrolls in his stomach. Mrs. Teaberry, Mr. Putter’s neighbor invites Mr. Putter to eat pineapple jellyrolls and he is eating them one by one and soon, 21 rolls is in his stomach. Mr. Putter cant sleep so they go out for a walk. Both of them like the feeling under the moonlight. Then Mr. Putter sees Ms. Teaberry at their front lawn, so they start to chat until they both go back to their homes and get a good sleep.
Neighbors can be close friends and do a lot of things together. People can do a lot of activities together with their neighbors, and people who live close to your house are the easiest to visit. In the story, Mr. Putter visits his friend Mrs. Teaberry several times as Mrs. Teaberry always invites Mr. Putter to come to eat deserts. They do nearly everything that is described in the story together, and they have fun. Even a grumbly stomach is not enough to stop Mr. Putter to from visiting Mrs. Teaberry. We should also build a good relationship between our neighbors and we can help each other. Having a close friend nextdoor who is happy to come over anytime might even be a little like having another member of the family.
There are a large number of people who are lonely or want another friend, and pets are one answer to that problem. Not everyone has a large family they live with or a lot of friends nearby; even people who live far away from others can have a dog or cat for companionship. In the story, Mr. Putter and Tabby take a walk together through the neighborhood just like human friends might. Mrs. Teaberry also has a friend called Zeke, that makes her feel no more lonely. Mr. Putter was once a lonely man, but now he's not alone because of his cat, Tabby, and Mr. Teaberry was once a lonely woman, but now she is not because of Zeke and now they both have a companion that helps each other like how human friends might. If the popularity of owning a pet counts as evidence, having a fluffy friend or other pet in a home can make life more pleasant.
Although cats and dogs can be good companionship, there are limits to what a person cannot expect from pets. There are no pets that can help a person with problems like bad choices, finding a new job, or family arguments, or even sharing secrets with each other. When Mr. Putter talks to Ms. Teaberry, he feels more happy, because Tabby cannot talk like humans do so that means the happiest moment told in this story is when Mr. Putter talks to Ms. Teaberry. There are things pets cannot do, so that leaves us the time when a person needs a human friend and there is certain time when human needs more than a pet. People should be happy for what their pets can do and not be disappointed when they find out the animal cannot do something. There are sometimes that animals can’t do anything so they will need a human friend instead.
