Ham and Eggs


Ham and eggs is a dish that nearly everyone knows, from old people to children. Everybody likes this dish because it is easy to make and extremely cheap.

First, you need to prepare 6 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, and 2 slice of ham. You also need a big pan.

Next, crack the 6 eggs into the big pan, you could place them in any pattern you want. Get rid of the eggshells. Heat up the pan.

Then pour the milk on to the eggs and use a stirring rod to mix the ingredients thoroughly. This will make the eggs thinner.

Finally, chop the ham into small cubes, and place them on to the milk eggs. Mix them altogether. The milk eggs will get thicker in the scorching pan. This is how you can make the delicious ham and eggs. Yum!

This is a great dish to replace boiled eggs if you don’t like eggs. It has lots of protein and calcium to keep you healthy.


How to Make Lasagna


One of the favorite Italian food is the lasagna. I first tasted it in my school dining hall, and I can’t forget its flavor, so I suggest my mum who is very good at cooking trying to make it at home. So we search a recipe and add some ingredients as I like. If you have the basic cooking skill and follow the steps accurately, as long as you have an oven at home. It’s easy for you to finish the dish perfectly. Just imagine you are the chef, follow me to begin!

First, we prepare the ingredients as follows:

  • Meat: Ground pork or beef depends on your preference.

  • Onion and carrot: An onion and a carrot.

  • Tomato products: You'll need a can of crushed tomatoes, two cans of tomato sauce, and two cans of tomato paste.

  • Sugar: Two tablespoons of white sugar.

  • Potato: You make to potato into the mushed potato.

  • Lasagna noodles: the number of slice depends on the size of the casserole.

  • Cheeses: Mozzarella, and cheddar cheese

  • Butter: Use the butter instead of oil to cook the meat

Next, we start the cooking step by step.

Step1: Make the red sauce. Heat up the pan, put some butter cubes first ,and then put the ground meat into the pan to stir for one minute, mix the chopped onions, chopped carrots and the tomato products altogether. Put some water in the pan and let the sauce boiled for 10 minutes.

Step2: Cook the noodles. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles, and rinse with cold water.

Step3: Layer the lasagna. To assemble the layer just like you play the Lego toys casually, you can put the noodles on the bottom of the casserole, pour the red sauce on the top, and the mushed potatoes, then the cheddar cheese. Repeat layers to the edge of casserole, and top with the mozzarella cheese.

Step4: Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C. Baking the finished dish in the oven for ten minutes until the top cheese starts to singe.

Finally, mum wears a pair of oven gloves taking out the casserole to rest lasagna for 15 minutes before serving.

How tempting the lasagna is! Even though making lasagna can be time-consuming, but the results are well worth the wait. I should appreciate my mum because every time I find something delicious to eat, as long as I tell her, she always tries her best to cook, so you can see a healthy and energetic boy just like me under the considerate care of my mum.
