LESSONS FROM FAILURE: WHY WE TRY, TRY AGAIN

Everyone experiences failures. Failure is a part of life. It teaches life lessons and helps people grow. But not everyone brushes themselves off and tries again. In this article, Bethany Brookshire discussed a study that explored people's reactions to failure and what prompted them to try again. Bethany Brookshire’s new study shows that focusing on what we learn from failure seems to help people persevere and have a greater chance of success next time. In my opinion, in the face of failure, we should adjust our mood and attitude and keep trying, and failure will finally lead us to success.

Keep trying, failure is the key to success. There is no doubt that failure is frightening and frustrating. Sometimes our frustration with failure is so great that we accept failure and stop trying. But this is not a healthy attitude towards failure. We should try again. If we don't try again, we will still fail in life. We need patience and courage. Not many people have successfully completed the task for the first time. On the contrary, people will always grow strong from every mistake or disappointment they may face, without failing it will be very hard to find their way to success. For example, Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times when he was trying to invent electric light. But do you know what he thought about his failure? He said, “I have not failed, I have found 10,000 ways that will not work”. Whenever you fail remember, you are either a few steps to success or there is something you must learn and do it right. Don’t get mad because you have failed so many times, keep trying, and learning, and each failure will lead you to success eventually.

Turn the pressure of failure into the pursuit of success and always have the courage to try again. The experiment of Bhanji and his team have proved that when people are under pressure, only when they can learn from setbacks can they have the motivation to move forward. If failure is beyond their control, pressure may make them unable to control their emotions - and persevere. When we are under pressure to challenge higher goals, we are often met with failure after failure. In this case, this could mean that when people are under stress, they are only motivated to forge on if they can learn from their setbacks. In fact, at this time, you are working hard to get the right answer, but your nervousness and frustration hinder us from achieving our goal. But never give up easily. We should have the motivation to turn the pressure of failure into the pursuit of success. I think people should have the idea of "failure is okay", which can relieve the pressure brought by failure, face failure frankly, find out the reason for failure, learn lessons, and continue to try hard, which is the better way to succeed.

Don't lose your enthusiasm, believe that the next time you try, you will succeed. Many of us are not willing to see the positive aspects of failures. We consider them as a piece of very bad luck, sometimes even a disaster for our life. Therefore, many people will lose confidence, shrink back and give up trying after a failure. On the other hand, people who are confident and enthusiastic will think that failures are natural and they should be treated as the best lesson-providing experiences in life. Success comes from experiences and experiences come from failures. I think failure is not terrible. People should have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to face and accept their failure. Bill Gates famously quoted “It’s fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.” So, we should get more enthusiasm for our goal. Success is moving from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. When you fail again, keep your enthusiasm and change your mindset on what that failure means. It's not the end of the road; try it again differently and you will succeed next time.

In conclusion, any person will face failure at a certain time. Failure is the key to a successful life. When people correctly understand failure, they need not be afraid of failure. Never stop trying, if we give up after failure, all our previous efforts will be in vain. We should not yield until our efforts succeed. We have a firm determination to move forward. Our unremitting efforts will eventually bear fruit. Keep trying means change, change means success. Maintain enthusiasm and regard each failure as the beginning of the next new attempt. Keep accumulating experience in failure, and try again and again, and success will come to you in the continuous trial.
