A habitat means a place where living things live. For example, we live in a huge house and are surrounded by neighbours and flowers. It is also the natural environment of a living thing. Like the rainforests and the jungles. It was built up naturally and not by machines people use. It is a place where a lot of living things live. Wetlands and grasslands are the most endangered places. A lot of people use those lands for buildings and things. Like a company and shops.
Nature sometimes also makes animals and plants endangered because places on earth keep changing and animals and plants won’t get used to the new habitat and will eventually disappear like dinosaurs. Humans are also one of the main things that makes animals and plants endangered. A lot of us throw garbage in the oceans and on the beaches. When the water rises, it could take the plastic cans and bottles left on the beach into the water. Then, sea animals could get harmed by plastic things. Even when a whale dies, you could still find a lot of garbage left in their stomach.
Less and less animals will be alive in this world and we won’t be able to even eat a bit of meat if the animals are all gone and eating meat is also a part of our life and if we don’t eat them, then we could get really sick and then die. Same thing as plants. If we don't have any more plants, then oxygen will disappear and we wouldn’t be able to live or breathe. We really should stop hunting and cutting trees. Instead, we could plant trees and help the earth to have more oxygen.
We should help prevent more habitat destruction. We should stop polluting so animals can stay safe. We could also stop hunting so less animals will disappear. We could start reducing things like a bag, we could use it over and over again to help sea animals from getting sick because of plastics. We should also use paper bags because when we throw them, they can decompose in the ground really quickly. One thing we could also do is to stop cutting trees so we could get more oxygen and instead, we could actually start planting trees in the yards for birds to live in and other animals to get food from.
In conclusion, we shouldn’t kill a lot of animals and plants but we could still kill a small amount of them. So we could be helping the animals and also ourselves. But we cannot kill animals just for their fur or something.
