How to Handle Bullies

Wanda Petronski's strange surname is just one of her many strange features in the eyes of her classmates. She lives in a dilapidated neighborhood, next door to a man who everyone thinks is crazy. Wanda wears the same blue dress every day - although she claims to have a hundred dresses in her closet at home. A girl named Peggy often made fun of Wanda's 100 pieces of clothing, and Peggy's reluctant partner Marty also joined the ridicule to avoid being teased. It was only after Wanda created 100 beautiful dress photos that Peggy and Maddie realized how they had hurt her and attempted to make amends. And during the book, they bullied Wanda.

Bullying refers to the deliberate abuse of power in a relationship through repeated verbal, physical, and/or social behavior, with the intention of causing physical, social, and/or psychological harm. It may involve an individual or a group abusing their power or perceived power, and one or more people feel unable to prevent this from happening. Bullying can occur on individuals or the internet, through various digital platforms and devices, and can also be obvious (public) or hidden (covert). Bullying behavior can be repeated or may be repeated over time (for example, by sharing digital records). Bullying in any form or for any reason can have direct, medium, and long-term effects on relevant individuals, including bystanders.

Bullying has a lot of negative consequences. Bullying can affect a child's learning ability. First, bullied children find it difficult to keep information throughout the day. When they constantly worry about when and where they may be bullied the next time, it will reduce the time they spend studying. Second of all, bullying can affect a child's ability to trust others. Whenever someone is bullied, they develop a strong distrust of others. This may not manifest when children are young. Nevertheless, as they grow and mature, and begin to establish relationships with others, this deep-seated distrust of people begins to surface. Finally, violence, harassment and bullying of students in schools are related to nearly 75% of School shootings in the United States. When these children feel as if no one cares about them, anger will control the situation, and this is when the School shooting occurred.

If you are bullied or others are bullied, there are things you can do. First, don’t bully back. Don't hit, kick, or retaliate to deal with people who bully you or your friends. Counterattack will only satisfy the bully, which is also very dangerous because someone may be injured. You may also encounter trouble. It is best to stay with others, maintain safety, and seek adult help. To continue, don't reveal your feelings. Plan ahead. Try to distract yourself and keep your brain busy until you get out of trouble and find a safe place to express your feelings. Last but not the least, tell an adult.ind someone you trust and talk about what happened to you. School teachers, principals, parents, and restaurant staff can all help prevent bullying. This is not talking incessantly about people who have done some small things - bullying is wrong, and it would be helpful if everyone who has been bullied or seen someone being bullied stood up and spoke up.

In short, bullying is a complex issue. It comes in various forms. Verbal and physical bullying is a direct form of bullying, including teasing or assaulting the victim. Relationship bullying and online bullying are indirect forms of bullying, including isolating someone from social groups or harassing them online. Regardless of the form of bullying, it will deeply affect the victim.

Many people who are bullied commit suicide. Those who did not commit suicide have changed their views on the world. In order to stop bullying, it is important to recognize these signs and make bullying a thing of the past, not the present or future.
