The story Strawberry girl talks about the Boyers moves from northern to southern Florida, and their neighbor the Slaters is very poor and very selfish, lack of social morality, doesn’t has Empathy with animals, Lack of legal consciousness, Boyers plant strawberries and orange and other food to sell and make money, but the Slaters doesn’t know how to plant the food, and doesn’t has enough food to eat and to sell, so they have to get the food by asks the Boyers to give them some, when the Boyers takes the strawberries to the station and take them to sell and the Boyers get money, they saw Slaters cow in the Marsh, it is very thin and very dirty, when they take the cow to the Slaters, Slaters doesn’t make Empathy to it and want it to be in the Marsh, they don’t think it is poor.
Selfishness can make people poor and don't have a great life. Selfish is when you think a lot about ourselves, and don’t want others to get our things no sharing, and if you are selfish, you can not make friend, you want everyone to give you their things and you don’t want to share with others, if you like sharing with others, others will share with you, and when you have some problems, your friend will all help you. And with animals it is the same, if you want to use less money by giving the animal no food, water and don’t help it when it is sick, then your animal will be very small and poor, and you can’t sell it and get much money, and you will be poor. In the story, the Slaters don't give their cows food and they can’t sell them for money and have no food to eat.
Lack of social morality and Lack of legal consciousness is another reason why Slaters is poor and has no money for food. Lack of social morality means not knowing to be polite like Spit everywhere, Litter, always having a fight, and saying something not polite to someone, and Lack of legal consciousness means not know much about law, like often destroying other plants. If you have Lack of social morality and Lack of legal consciousness can make you have a difficult trade with others. People who have a lack of social morality and lack of legal consciousness only know to destroy other things and get other things to make them alive. They don’t know how to make money by themselves like selling things, planting things. In the story the Slaters destroy the Boyers strawberries and let their animals play roll and run in Boyers yards which have grown food.
If they don’t know how to plant and feed the animals and plants they will have no things to sell and eat so their pocket will be very clear because of no money. If they don’t know how to plant they cannot plant out vegetables they only knows to put the seed in the mud and give it water and it will grow out but it is not that easy you have to apply fertilizer and other work, it is a difficult work not every people can grown out only you planted many times what you are farmer and have someone to tell you or you will plan out some grass and died after some days. If you don’t know how to take care of the animals, the animals will die and be unhealthy. Taking animals means you check your body, you feed them, you wash them, that's not everyone can do it. In the story the Slaters don’t know how to plant and take care of animals and they have no food to eat and sell; they can only get food from Boyers.
In conclusion the story the strawberry girl talks about there are Slaters and the Boyers two family Slaters is very selfish and have a lack of social morality and the lack of legal consciousness the most important is that they don’t know how to grow and take care of the animals it is very easy but they don’t grow out anything so they have to get food from the Boyers, the Boyers growns strawberries orange and sell them Slater only knows to take their animals to Boyers yard and role-play run in their yard to destroy their plants but poor have money too. So this story tell us that if we want to make many money and have a good life we have to be unselfish and have social morality and legal consciousness and knows how to do the things we make money.
