Human nature is a thing that every human does in their life, like being greedy, or lying, a lot of human nature is shown in the Monkey's Paw. Curiosity is shown in the book, as the White family is curious to see the monkey’s paw, and know its tale. Greediness is also shown throughout the story, like when the son is said to be an emperor to his dad, making him greedy for the money. Morris at the beginning took advantage of the White family, and let them take the paw, as their weakness was not knowing of its consequences. The White family also had an irresistible temptation from Morris, to get the paw for its three wishes, and its power. The Monkey’s paw is also a devil, it kills people, and Morris transfers the devil to the white family. Morris had also lied to the white family, by not telling them the consequences which brought the White family to despair.
