Can I Survive in the Rainforest? -Negative

The rainforest is a thick forest that is located near the equator, where there is much rain. The weather is humid and hot every day in this environment. There are also many plants and animals in rainforests, because the rainforest provides the animals with what they need, shelter, food, water, and warmth. The rainforest is divided into three layers. The canopy is the uppermost layer, where only the tallest trees reach. We can find climbing or flying animals there, such as monkeys and birds. The second layer is the understory, it doesn’t have much sunlight, but some animals and plants still thrive there. The last layer is called the forest floor, the forest floor is teeming with life, it also contains some useful plants and crops. The rainforest is a lively place, but can I survive there? I think not.

Firstly, there is not enough food and water in the rainforest. While there may be crops, like corn, and fruits and nuts, we cannot tell which are edible and which are not. Also, the animals there also eat these crops, fruits and nuts, so you may get into a fight over food. The fight might be dangerous, you would get hurt, or worse, you might die. Both ways, you might get injured. The water is not clean there, so if we drink it we might get sick, if we purify the water, then it would be safe, but if you don’t have the right equipment or the skills to do it, then there is no hope. So, we cannot survive in the rainforest, because there is less food and water.

Secondly, there is no shelter to protect me from danger in the rainforest. The rainforest wouldn’t provide us with shelter, we need to make our own. But if we don’t know how to make one, then we are wide open to danger. Shelter can protect us from many dangers, like wild animals, temperature, and weather. Some wild animals are aggressive, like jaguars, shelter can protect us from their attacks. In the rainforest, it is very hot and humid. If we make a shelter, we can be cool and comfortable. It often rains in the rainforest, shelter can protect us from rain, lightning, hurricanes, etc. This bad weather can harm us very much. So, in the rainforest, shelter is an important part of survival, but the rainforest doesn’t give us shelter.

Last but not least, it can be pretty lonely in the rainforest. Even though there are lots of animals around, some of them may be friendly, it is hard to concentrate on surviving if you are bored and lonely. Adventuring out might cure the pain and let you forget, but when you are done with your work, you will remember your loneliness again. Longing for company might impact you on the journey. It is hard when you are alone, you will feel the pain of being lonely, and it might drive you insane. This is not good for your health or your life, because you might do something reckless, and end your life. So, the feeling of isolation can impact you when you are in the rainforest.

In conclusion, the rainforest is a lively place filled with animals and plants. Despite all the living things around, I think I can’t survive in the rainforest by myself. One, because There was not enough food and water in the rainforest, while there may be food, there is no clean water that I can drink. Two, because there is no shelter that can protect me from dangers in the rainforest. Third, because it is lonely in the rainforest, if I travel by myself. I would long for company there, because I would feel isolated. So, I can’t survive in the rainforest alone.
