The rainforest is a thick forest that is located near the equator, where there is much rain. The weather is humid and hot every day in this environment. There are also many plants and animals in rainforests, because the rainforest provides the animals with what they need, shelter, food, water, and warmth. The rainforest is divided into three layers. The canopy is the uppermost layer, where only the tallest trees reach. We can find climbing or flying animals there, such as monkeys and birds. The second layer is the understory, it doesn’t have much sunlight, but some animals and plants still thrive there. The last layer is called the forest floor, the forest floor is teeming with life, it also contains some useful plants and crops. The rainforest is a lively place, but can I survive there? I think so.
Firstly, there is a lot of food and some clean water in the rainforest. In the rainforest, we can find fruits, nuts, and crops. We can find fruits such as mangos, nuts such as Brazil nuts, and crops such as corn make up our usual meal. Even if we are hungry, we can eat the fruits, nuts, and crops that grow in the forest. We can set aside food for now, we can discuss water. In the rainforest, there are many sources of clean water all around. The fruit that grow there have juice, which is water, in them. Even if we get thirsty, we can replenish our water resources by eating fruits. So, by eating the edible fruits, nuts, and crops that grow in the rainforest, we can survive very well in the forest.
Secondly, we can make our own shelter in the rainforest. The rainforest holds many materials, even though it doesn’t give us shelter, it provides all the things needed to build one. Building a shelter requires a hard material to make a frame, something to hold the frame together, and also something to make it cozy. We can collect some wood to make a frame, and find some vines to tie the frame together. Then we can hunt some animals and get their pelts to act as a carpet or bed, so that we wouldn’t have to sleep on the hard floor. The rainforest might have caves or tree holes in it, we can use these as shelter to protect us from wild animals and weather. So, we should be fine in the rainforest, because there are materials in there that we can use to build a shelter.
Last but not least, there is a ton of medical supplies in the rainforest. The first few needs of humans include medical needs, the others are food, water, and shelter, but they are covered by the rainforest. Medicines are also provided by the rainforest, although they come in the form of plants. In the rainforest, there are some plants that can be used to make medicines. Some of the usefullest drugs and medicine come from the rainforest. Even if you get sick, you can be cured, if you find the right plant. Finding the right plant can solve your medical needs. Even if you have a disease that is hard to cure, you can be treated with the plants of the rainforest. So, we can solve our medical problems in the rainforest.
In conclusion, the rainforest is a lively place filled with animals and plants. I think I can survive in the rainforest by myself for three reasons. First, because there is enough food and some clean water in the rainforest, the rainforest is home to many juicy fruits, nuts, and crops. Second, because there is enough materials to build a shelter that can protect me from animals and weather in the rainforest. Third, because there is enough medical supplies to meet my medical needs in the rainforest. There are many plants that can be used to make medicines in the rainforest. So, I can survive in the rainforest alone.
