The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a 1900 children's novel written by author L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow. It is the first novel in the Oz series of books. A Kansas farm girl named Dorothy ends up in the magical Land of Oz after she and her pet dog, Toto, are swept away from their home by a cyclone. Upon her arrival in the magical world of Oz, she learns she cannot return home until she has destroyed the Wicked Witch of the West. At last, she uses a bucket of water to melt the wicked witch of the West and get back to Kansas.

Sometimes, when we are lost in something, friends can be a sign that shows our way to get out. Friendship is an important part of life that brings joy, support, and a sense of belonging to people who are living outside. In the story, Dorthy and her friends work with each other so that they cannot be stopped. Friendship can help people feel a sense of belonging and make them feel at home when they are far from home. Friendship is a meaningful connection that provides comfort, loyalty, and a sense of belonging to people.

Family love is as important to people as fish needs water. Humans are group animals; a human can have no friends, classmates, or pets, but humans cannot don’t have any family love. In the story, even though she lives well in the world of Oz, she still wants to return to her home. The moments we share with our family can stay in our hearts forever. So everyone should recognize that family love is our important support in the world.

Confidence is portrayed as something that grows through experience, as each person learns to trust in their inner strengths. True strength comes from trusting in their abilities, and they are able to accomplish what they set out to do. In the story,  their journey proved that these qualities are not missing but are already within them, it is just because they aren’t confident.  Confidence doesn’t mean being perfect or never making mistakes; it means having the courage to keep going, even when things are tough, and believing that you can handle it. Confidence is the belief in one's own abilities and judgment.

Good ultimately defeats evil because all of the people want a peaceful and free world. The world’s good needs us to protect together, and we need to kill the evil. In the story, Dorthy is defeated by the evil at first, but she then finds a way that defeats the evil. Standing up against evil is essential to protect this world. Everyone needs to keep good to defeat evil to make the world better.

In conclusion, this is a warm and touching book. The book tells us family love is as important to people as fish needs water. Sometimes, when we are lost in something, friends can be a sign that shows our way to get out. Confidence is portrayed as something that grows through experience, as each person learns to trust in their inner strengths. Good ultimately defeats evil because all of the people want a peaceful and free world.Except for this, I also learn many writing skills in this book. I recommend you to read this book. You will love it.
