People have the power to choose, which is a big part of being human. Every day, we make choices that can lead us down different paths. We can choose to be good or bad. It lets us be kind and honest, but it can also make us selfish and mean depending on what we choose. The struggle between choosing good and evil can be punished. In the story, Dorthy chooses to be good, she defeats the witch and gets inherited by finding a way to go home. Society and our personal choices can influence our choices, but the final decision is always ours and it is never too late to go the other path. If we choose to be kind and respectful, we can build strong communities and connect with others. But if we choose to be mean and hurtful, we can be lonely and cause pain. People can choose, they can be good or bad and no one can stop and make them take a certain path.
Friendship is a special relationship between two or more people who stick to each other and enjoy spending time or will assist if they need help. Trust and support and these are like points and the more good times we spend with each other, the more points you will have. Friends help each other and only bad friends will leave you out of a problem. In the story, Dorathy is friends with the scarecrow, the wood tin man and the lion, they work together to succeed, each using their talent to help and protect each other. Having a friend means the two or more will stick together and usually can help each other, they don’t get in fights that often and do not leave the others to deal with a problem themselves. Good friends are one who help each other and work together.
Family is important because it provides love, support and a few more concepts of values to each of its members. Family members teach each other, help one another and share life's joys and sorrows. In the story, Dorthy loves her family, that’s why she is a little eager to go home, even though that means she will have to leave her friends, and never see them again, she still really wants to go home to see her family and it is more important than a friend actually. Dorothy complains sometimes about how to go home and I bet if she knew that the witch's shoes that she finds can bring her anywhere, she would have been gone in a jiffy. Families provide a “setting”for personal growth. They have love and have almost everything prepared out that a new kid needs. Their job is to love and take care of not just themselves but each other. Family is the one single most important influence that can happen in a child's life.
