The story Sarah Plain and Tall written by Patricia Maclachlan talks about a girl named Anna. She has a brother called Caleb. Their mother died after the day Caleb was born. They were lonely. But then, a woman named Sarah became their new mom and they almost did every single thing together. Sarah even said that she might stay. They played and did a lot of activities together. Sarah also learned how to ride a horse and how to drive the wagon. Sarah also had a brother named William and she misses him a lot because his brother is still in Maine. In the end, They all became thrilled to be together.
Loneliness is something people would usually hate but it could change if we just try. When we try, we can be happy in no time. And just like in this story, everyone was lonely in the first place but then, everything changed because of Sarah’s coming. When Sarah came, everyone started to have fun and they all did a lot of activities together. They learned a lot of things and they even swam in a pond. If we try, We could always change things that we don’t like and make it even better than before.
Home is a really important place to all of us. Our home is where our loved ones are and no matter what, they will always love us. Just like in the story, Sarah’s loved ones are still on the other side of the country but she had to leave. Sarah is now lonely because she really misses his brother named William. William was a really important person to her but she had to go to the other side of the country just to replace the kid’s mother and make them happy. So, we know that our home is the most important thing to us.
Family is a place where you have your family members. This place is really helpful and it is full of happiness. So like in this story, Jacob, and the kids' home is together because they are a family and they all really love each other but they are also sad because of their mother that has died the day after Caleb was born. They had to stay together but they really wanted a mother so papa welcomed a woman named Sarah to replace their mother and they became happy again. Family is really important.
