The story written by by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel. It talks about a rooster wanting to cook a strawberry shortcake. The goose, the cat and the dog don’t want help the rooster. But the iguana, the pig, and the turtle agreed to help. They try twice to make a good strawberry short cake. They also make many mistakes. In the end they still made a great strawberry shortcake.
Learn from our mistakes and correct them the moment we found out these mistakes is a good habit and it makes us mature. If we don’t then we will do this mistake again and again. In this story the iguana makes mistakes while making the first shortcake. But he corrected his mistakes and the second time it was a lot easier to make the shortcake. When we correct our mistakes then we can save time. When we do the same thing next time we might not make the mistake we made last time. Learning from mistakes can speed up process and prevent us to do these mistakes again and again.
Working together with others to help us spare time and make difficult things easier. When everyone works together, we can make a more accurate decision. We can also increase of efficiency. In this story they worked together to get the ingredients, to make and taste the strawberry shortcake. Working together will make the thing we are doing much easier to do and finish. Teamwork often soften the difficulty level of a task and we can make more accurate choices.
Blame each other for some failure is not good, instead we should try to come up with an idea to help us get an achievement . If we usually blame others then others will not like us and we will be wasting time on the thing we are doing. In this story the turtle, the iguana and the pig blamed each other for the failure but their problem isn’t solved. If we blaming others then our problems can’t solve problems and it will waste our time . If we blame others then the problem will not be solved and others might not like you.
When we have some difficult tasks we can call our friends to finish the tasks with us. When we make mistakes during the task then we should correct it quickly to avoid making the same mistake again and again. When we failed we can’t blame each other. Or else the friendship between our friends and us will be broken. And we might be lonely. If we don’t blame our friends then maybe they will still want us afterwards.
