This book is written by Madeleine L’engle. It is about a girl named Meg setting off to find her father with her little brother,Charles Wallace, and a teenager named Calvin O’Keefe. Together they went on that adventure, that most dangerous and extraordinary adventure, and found Meg’s father. Meg also saved Charles, who was trapped in IT while the three children were looking for Meg’s father.
Family play an important role when we come to a challenge. They encourage and makes us stronger during that challenge. In the story even though she is weak she still saved her father and Charles because of her wanting for the whole family to get together. Family gives gives us strength even if one of them is the person we are trying to help or save. Family gives us strength no matter where they are or what conditions they are in.
We should respect ourselves and not be affected by other people’s idea’s after we decided what we are going to do. If we did get affected by other people’s ideas then the results will sometimes be bad. In the story Meg decided to use love to save Charles, so she did it instead of thinking about other plans to do it. The more time we use on thinking about whether to change our decision, the harder it is to do it. If we respect ourselves ,then the decision we have made will be done much sooner and then we can use then time we spared out to do other things.
Teamwork helps finish a job more quickly. The people who are in a team need his or her teammates to help he or she do a task quickly. In the story Meg, Charles and Calvin worked together to find Meg’s long lost Father. They used many solutions to find and get him, so that Meg can have a whole and happy family. Working together made the plan, the three children made, much easier to do than when only one of them did what they planned. Without teamwork, the difficulties in the task will become more difficult for the members of the team to solve separately.
Family is the thing that gives us the strength we really need when we are weak while going though the challenges we are facing in life. Respecting ourselves is also a primal battle all human beings are facing in their whole lives. It is really just that some people still can’t respect themselves in their whole lives.
