The Story A Wrinkle inTime is written by Madeleine L’Engle, it talks about a girl named Meg who lost her dad. One day they met a woman called Mrs Whatsit, and Mrs Whatsit tessers Charles Wallace (Meg’s brother) and a school friend called Calvin with Mrs Who and Mrs Which to a planet called Uriel. At that planet, they learn that planets are fighting with a thing that is called the black thing. Then they tesser to Comozotz, they meet a big brain called IT. IT controls Charles Wallace. Meg finds Dad and rescues him to another planet. On that planet, they meet Aunt Beast. Meg decides to go back to Comozotz to rescue Charles Wallace. Meg uses her love to rescue Charles Wallace and everyone reunites back on earth.
Family gives us power to do the things we are scared to do. Love makes us go forward in difficult times. In the story, Meg never gives up on Charles Wallace even when she needs to go to a dark, evil place. She uses the power of love and goes back to rescue Charles Wallace even though she is really scared. Family gives you love power and other things, it can make us strong and make impossible things possible.
Don’t judge people by their appearance. If we stay with them long enough, we can know if they are good or bad. In the story, Meg and Calvin think Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs Which are weird and may be bad witches. But in the end, they find out that they are actually good and help Meg and Charles Wallace find their dad. Do not judge too early, we need time to get to know someone, see their actions not their talkings.
Being unique doesn’t always mean bad, sometimes it can be good. Maybe it can help us do things that we don’t think we are capable of doing. In the story, Meg and Charles are unique to the people around them. Their uniqueness helps them to meet Mrs Whatsit, Mrs Who and Mrs Which. Meg’s uniqueness even helps her to save Charles Wallance in the end of the story. Being Unique is a good characteristic.
A wrinkle in time is a fiction about love and courage. First, I learned that family can give us unconditional love and power, to make us do things that we are scared to do. Next, I learned not to judge people by their appearance. Last, I learned that being unique makes you who you are. I like this book so much, I will really recommend it to you.
