Splish ! Splash ! Animal Baths is written by April Pulley Sayre, it talks about animals taking baths, the ways to take baths and having helpers to help them. I really like this story because it teaches us some important themes.

We learn from the animals their own ways of taking baths. Animals’ baths are different. For example: in the story an elephant takes a bath by spreading water over its body. Pigs take baths by soaking in the thick, brown mud. That helps us know their habits.

We learn from some animals that have helpers.Oxpeckers help giraffes by pecking away ticks, giraffes help oxpeckers by giving them a meal, and giraffes get clean. Corporations are very important.

We have to protect them. Most animals are using nature resources to take baths. For example: elephants are using water to take baths, we have to keep lakes or rivers clean, pigs take baths by soaking in the thick, brown mud, we have to not throw trash in the mud.

I like this story, it makes me know that we learn from the animals their own ways of taking baths. We learn from some animals that have helpers. We have to protect them and keep the environment clean. I really recommend this book for you, and I hope you like it.
