A zoo has money problems for some reason and the animals are in danger. But then a girl decided to help the zoo by writing a letter about how she would like everyone to donate a dollar to the zoo. Then people started to donate different amounts of money to the zoo. This helped the zoo a lot and the girl got interviewed on tv. Then the zoo got volunteers to help them clean and fix the zoo. The zoo was very much grateful of the girl and thanked her a lot and she even got a private tour. The zoo was then officially saved by the girl and the other people around the world.
You can do charity, even if you are a baby or a kid. How, well you can sell lemonade and write letters like Angel. You don’t even need money to do charity. You can be a volunteer to clean zoos and stuff. Sometimes you can even help more when you don’t use money than when you do. If you are famous or powerful you still can’t beat everyone. After hearing about Angel’s story we learn that you don’t need to be rich , powerful, or famous to do charity because there are other ways too that you can help charity!
Unlike Angel, I think it would be difficult for me to do charity because I am always shy. I don’t think that I am as confident as Angel since she speaks in front of plenty of people and I would be way too scared. I would probably give more money than her but I would never think about writing a letter to the local news since I would be scared to get rejected by them. Also if I were to volunteer on doing something like selling lemonade it’s still hard since It would be very boring and hot . This is why I think that it would be difficult to do charity. But If I read the news I would clean others shoes so that I could donate to the zoo. I would also volunteer to clean the bird's cage but not the lions so that I could be more useful.
But nowadays I would do charity in a different way because now that we are in modern societies and more developments there are more ways to do charity. We can post on google so that people would donate much more than before and know where need’s help. Also we can now print out posters and put them everywhere so that everyone would see it. Also now that we have technology we can post pictures everywhere online so that everyone who has a laptop or phone can see it. These are all the different ways we can do it than before.
