The Chaffee Zoo in Fresno has money problems and the animals in the zoo are not being cared. A girl named Angel saves the day by sending a letter with a dollar in it to the local newspaper. The letter’s slogan (give a dollar, save a life) quickly affected peoples minds and they all started to donate money. Soon, all the people across the globe were concerned of the problem. Angel was invited to spread the news to more people and appear on TV. Many students came to help by doing carwashes to raise money. After six months, the Chaffee Zoo received six hundred thousand USD of three million USD. Angel still has a long way to go. Let’s discuss how do we do charity?
Do you have to be rich, famous, or powerful to do charity? No, I think everyone, including the ones that are poor, and little children can also do charity. Even if you are donating little money, it will still make a change. If everyone donates bits of money, one day we will fulfill our goal. You should try your best to show what you can do. For example, the highschoolers held carwashes to raise money, grade one and two students sell lemonade on the street, little babies can sing a song or perform a dance. Everyone can help to achieve a goal; I recommend that everyone should be confident and immediately get involved in volunteering to make our world a wonderful place.
Compared to Angel’s traits, I believe that it is easy to do charity. First, you should use your inviting skills to convince others to agree with your idea, so they can help you. Second, you should decide what you can do, like preparing shows, write a letter to the newspaper, making a speech in the school. Thirdly, after you get the community’s attention, you should make some public appearances; being interviewed, so more people could be concerned about the problem. Finally, gather the money and send it to the place in need. As long as you get more people’s consideration of the urgent situation, you can easily do a charity.
Nowadays, with the improvement of technology and science, we have more ways to do charity. We could adapt the internet’s websites to spread the dilemma quickly. For example, you can make a video and upload it onto YouTube. We should also study the new AI technology called Sora which is an AI model that can create realistic and imaginative scenes from text instructions. This will help you quickly generate a little movie that is about the charity. The improvement of technology can support us to spread the news to the whole world.
