A boomtown is basically a small town that grows rapidly due to the new business opportunities. This also leads to the reason why boomtowns grow so fast as the reason is simply because everyone seeks one thing and that is money. Then if there suddenly was one day a gold rush like in california, many people would want to go there as everyone wants to become rich which is also very normal. This can cause a rapid change in the number of people in a town as everyone wants to go there. In my opinion boomtowns are bad since they do more bad than good.
A boomtown can happen in many different areas. For example, Toronto is a boomtown as there are a lot of possibilities of opportunities in toronto. Another example would be Beijing in China as there is a large population of humans going there as it is a big environment with many cultures and jobs and most people would prefer to go there. Not only that but Columbia would also be a boomtown since it’s a very well known place as there are lots of business opportunities there. These are all examples of boomtowns in different areas of the planet that are very well known.
In my opinion, boomtowns are the worst since they cause a lot of traffic jams and which can also lead to car accidents on the roads. For example, Felix is walking on the road when a car suddenly hits him. This would be very bad since it can ruin people's lives and cause their friends to have a bad day and eventually get over it. This can also cause a big down garage in human popularity as if there is too much of something it would eventually fade away as other things would no longer be equal.
The advantage of a boomtown would be that it can help earn jobs and opportunities to be successful. Not only that but it can also help the government deal with problems that relate to finance. This means that boomtown can help everyone to have a better and less painful life as people would have less opportunities if there were no boomtown. The disadvantage of a boomtown is very simple as it is basically that there would be more traffic which leads to many trouble and problems as places with people that have more money can attract thieves which might end up in a big catastrophe.
