Boomtown was a town or city that grew rapidly due to new business opportunities known as a boomtown. These towns attract a surge of people seeking opportunities, resulting in quick population growth, new businesses, and infrastructure development. There used to only be empty land, there are now towns, as all the miners have come looking for somewhere to live. There are thousands of people out here. Some of the boom towns like San Francisco was a city at a time ago, but then people found gold in San Francisco, so a lot of people came to San Francisco, this was called the Gold Rush. But I don’t think boomtown is a good idea.
Firstly, if a town becomes a boomtown there will be a lot of people coming to boomtown, then there will be a lot of traffic in the town, and there will be a lot of exhaust from the car. The air quality index will deteriorate. When there are so many cars, the car will make traffic and more serious traffic accidents. When a car is driving, they will exhaust emissions, the exhaust of the car can pollute the air, and the exhaust can make the warming air, melting glaciers, this can make the animals like penguins, snow wolves, and polar bears that live on the iceland extinct. This is very serious to the world.
Secondly, a lot of people come, there will be a lot more houses, if we want to make houses we need spaces. It affects the ecological balance of nature. Humans need a place to live in when they are outside, so they made houses. Want to make houses. I need places, but space is limited, but people are endless. There are more and more people coming to boomtown. Humans are getting places from the wild, and the animals’ habitat will be smaller and smaller. At last the animals won’t have a place to live anymore, and they will be extinct, the whole ecosystem will be broken and then there will be more and more animals extinct.
Last but not the least, when a town becomes a boomtown, rapid population growth leads to overcrowded living spaces with poor sanitation, contributing to disease outbreaks. Like the time of Covid 19, humans live in a big city and they don’t go out very much but they still have a lot of people infected by covid, and a lot of people have died. Contrasting the big city and a town we can know that the big city was bigger. Even if people live in the big city they won’t come out and they will have a lot of people affected by disease, not to mention small cities. There will be fewer places and more humans in the small cities, so it was really easy to get infectious diseases.
In conclusion, although the boomtown can give people a lot of goods, like the town becoming a boomtown can make the town’s economy better and can make the country’s economy better. Everyone can have food to eat and a place to live. The infrastructure was growing, the boomtowns often saw rapid infrastructure development. But it still has a lot of bad effects on us, we need a high population town or country that is safe and doesn't need us to have disease.
